TLG is committed to delivering high-quality, reliable Products to our customers. We stand behind our products so that you don’t have to worry about missing a ride!

Our Limited Warranty Policy (Policy) warrants against defects in materials and workmanship and applies only to TLG Products purchased from an authorized TLG retailer (www.tlgmobility.com/dealers/) or from TLG’s official website (www.tlgmobility.com). The Policy provides warranty coverage on the complete bike for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase, as long as Product has been registered within 60 days of purchase. The frame is protected by TLG’s warranty for the lifetime of the original owner.

If the Product was originally purchased from a source other than an authorized retailer or from TLG’s official website, it will not be covered by this Policy.

This Policy is transferable to subsequent owners, as long as the original purchase was made in accordance with this Policy and the original proof of purchase is provided when filing a claim.

This Policy does not cover any damage or defects to covered components resulting from failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual, as well as the following:

• Damages caused by misuse, abuse, or by accident or negligence
• Custom paint, damage caused to paint by improper care, use of solvents and other harsh chemicals, crashes, scratches, or other wear-and-tear
• Failure to observe care instructions including incorrect assembly, installation or maintenance
• Unauthorized modification or alteration including any repair done outside of TLG Customer Service
• Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the Product
• Labor charges for part replacement or installation
• Cosmetic scratches or non-structural blemishes
• Specific to battery: the warranty does not cover damage from power surges, use of improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear, water damage, or improper storage below -4°F or above 113°F

This Policy does not apply to Products whose serial number or production code has been deliberately altered, defaced, or removed. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective Product as determined in TLG’s sole discretion and expertise. TLG is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages unless prohibited by state law. Claims made outside the country of original purchase may be subject to fees and additional restrictions.

Warranty claims must be made through an authorized TLG Retailer or via (https://www.tlgmobility.com/web/warranty). Warranty is only valid with proof of purchase on registered product. Handwritten or auction site receipts will not be accepted. Note: Please remember to bring or send your Product to an Authorized TLG Retailer in an assembled, reasonably clean and sanitary condition and accompanied by the original, dated sales receipt for the bicycle (be sure to keep your receipt in a safe place).

If TLG determines, in its sole discretion, that your Product is subject to this Policy, TLG will:

1. Repair the Product at no charge for parts;
• a. If Product was purchased directly from TLG’s website or an authorized affiliate’s website, labor charges will be covered at 60% of relevant Retailer’s posted labor rate (remaining 40% is owner’s responsibility)
• b. If Product was purchased directly from authorized Dealer, labor charges will be covered by Dealer
• c. If Product is taken to an unauthorized Dealer for repair, labor costs will be borne 100% by Customer
2. Replace the Product with the same model Product
3. Replace the Product with a comparable Product or offer a comparable option should your Product be discontinued or otherwise unavailable.

You are responsible for all taxes, fees, or other charges, including shipping, transportation, postage or otherwise, except where prohibited. Until received by TLG, you will bear the risk of loss. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the above three remedies shall be your sole and exclusive remedies under this Policy and supersede any prior contrary or additional representations, whether oral or written.

Due to product evolution and obsolescence (such as products that have been discontinued or are no longer kept in stock), some frames or components may not be available for older or limited-edition models. In these cases, TLG may elect to provide a replacement that they determine to be the most comparable model.

It is your responsibility to regularly inspect and properly maintain your bicycle. Some items that typically exhibit damage from normal wear-and-tear include:

Paint fading caused by the effects of ultraviolet light (UV) or outdoor exposure is not covered by this Policy.

TLG reserves the right to refuse warranty service to any person who in TLG’s sole discretion, abuses its Products or this Policy.

Damage to a Product during shipping is not covered by this Policy. Notwithstanding such limitation, TLG agrees to replace such damaged Products if you:

• Notify TLG of damage to a Product in the shipping process within seven (7) days of the date of your receipt of the Product
• Immediately provide TLG with dated pictures and/or a video of the damaged Product
• Inspect the Product immediately upon receipt of the Product; or note in clear detail any immediately recognizable damage to the Product on the shipper’s Bill of Lading prior to signing off on the shipment of the Product
• Return all original packaging and paperwork when you return the new, unused Product to TLG.

If you choose to set up your own independent shipping method, such as use of a freight forwarder or other similar service, TLG will not be responsible for the replacement of any Products damaged during such shipping method.

THE REMEDIES STATED ABOVE ARE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY. ANY AND ALL OTHER REMEDIES AND DAMAGES THAT MAY OTHERWISE BE APPLICABLE ARE EXCLUDED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, DAMAGES TO OTHER PROPERTY, OR ANY PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

THIS IS THE ONLY WARRANTY MADE BY TLG ON ITS FRAMES AND COMPONENTS, AND THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXXTEND BEYOND WHAT IS STATED HEREIN. ANY WARRANTIES THAT MAY OTHERWISE BE IMPLIED BY LAW INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXCLUDED.

PLEASE REFER TO THE DOCUMENTS INCLUDED WITH YOUR BICYCLE FOR POSSIBLE FURTHER RESTRICTIONS.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES THE CONSUMER SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. THE CONSUMER MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. SOME STATES AND COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IF IT IS DETERMINED BY A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION THAT A CERTAIN PROVISION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY, SUCH DETERMINATION SHALL NOT AFFECT ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND ALL OTHER PROVISIONS SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT.

If you are the original owner and your Product is not eligible for coverage under this Policy, please refer to TLG Total Shield which may provide you with a solution. See below:

TLG Total Shield extends and/or supplements TLG’s Limited Warranty for 5 years with an additional level of coverage when your issue doesn’t fit neatly into the Limited Warranty categories. If your bike is stolen, damaged (regardless of fault), TLG will help you get back on your bike by offering you the following pricing discounts:

Accident: a digital photo of the damaged part must be provided and approved by TLG prior to replacement approval (one replacement per part, e.g., one derailleur replacement cancels future derailleur replacements for that Product)

No additional discounts or offers may be combined to “stack” offers. Should an exact replacement for the part or model not be available, TLG will determine a “like-for-like” replacement.

Please note: TLG Total Shield does not include wear-and-tear items such as chains, cassettes, cables, tires, tubes and adjustments.

TLG Total Shield is free of charge to the original owner for Products purchased from an authorized TLG Retailer or from www.tlgmobility.com.

Please note: TLG Total Shield is non-transferable to any subsequent owner.
