Choose a commuter e-bike for the ride you repeat most

If you cannot recharge at work, the return leg is the hard part of a commute. If your route is short but full of traffic lights, getting on and putting a foot down may be more important than extra battery capacity. Our three commuter bikes answer those different problems: SOLAY favors lighter, relaxed trips; GlideOn adds a low entry and a suspension seatpost; SummitRide gives longer routes a larger standard battery.

SOLAY: lighter cruising for short trips around town

If your day involves neighborhood streets, quick stops and limited parking space, start with the SOLAY commuter e-bike for its lighter, step-through design. Its pedal-forward position lets you place your feet on the ground while seated at a stop. At 61.06 lb, SOLAY is lighter than GlideOn at 66.35 lb and SummitRide at 80.6 lb, a useful distinction if you must move the bike into storage after every ride.

GlideOn: an easier start at every stop

Frequent lights and errands can make mounting, stopping and setting off feel like the hardest parts of a ride. We built the GlideOn commuter e-bike with a low-entry frame and upright riding position for that routine. Its suspension seatpost offers another reason to choose it over SOLAY when cracked pavement and repeated bumps are a regular part of your work route.

SummitRide: more room for a longer round trip

When work is farther away or charging there is uncertain, the return journey deserves a bigger share of your decision. The SummitRide long-range e-bike has a larger standard battery and optional range extender, making it our long-distance commuter option. Its 1,440Wh standard battery holds twice GlideOn's and three times SOLAY's battery capacity; that is more stored energy.

Choose by the daily friction, not just the motor number

For a short ride with tight storage, SOLAY's lighter build and pedal-forward position simplify daily stops and parking. GlideOn combines a low-entry frame with a suspension seatpost for stop-heavy routes over rougher streets. SummitRide pairs our largest standard commuter battery with an optional extender, giving longer round trips more room between charges.
