Choose an adventure e-bike for the whole outing
On a ride that leaves pavement for gravel and ends at a trailhead, AmpTrail's wide tires, suspension and rack mounts address the changing surface and the gear you bring. For a paved ride to a park or campground with another rider, DUO's integrated rear rack supports compatible passenger equipment. Both bikes offer an optional extender when the return leg and side trips make the day longer than the direct ride out.
AmpTrail: follow the route beyond pavement
If your weekend route moves from streets to permitted gravel roads or rougher access paths, the AmpTrail adventure e-bike brings wide tires and suspension to that transition. A pre-installed rear rack and mounting points for a compatible front rack and panniers give a jacket, tools and other outdoor essentials separate places to travel. Keep small items in compatible panniers and a larger bag on the rear rack, within each carrier's limit, so a quick stop does not require unpacking everything.
DUO: take someone along for the ride
If the outing is about reaching a park, waterfront or campground together, the DUO passenger e-bike offers a shared-ride setup. Its integrated rear rack is designed for compatible passenger equipment, so a second rider can come on permitted roads and paths. On a solo park ride, that rear area can take compatible carrying gear for a picnic bag instead. Check the installed passenger or cargo setup and local riding rules for the route you plan.
Plan the return ride and the gear you will bring
For a campground without charging, count the paved approach, gravel access road, any side trips and the ride home as one battery plan. AmpTrail and DUO each offer an optional range extender when those combined miles call for more battery capacity. If you are bringing a jacket, tools and a larger bag, our e-bike accessories include a front rack and rear panniers; check compatibility and carrier limits before assigning each item a place. Hills, surface, load and assist use will affect the distance you can ride per charge.
